Personal Accident
The conventional
Group Life Assurance plan does not provide compensation for employees as a
result of injuries and disability sustained through accidents, hence, the need
for the group personal accident which provides the following benefits;
Permanent
Disability Benefit: This is a condition caused or occasioned by accidental
bodily injury/disability, which renders the insured incapable of engaging in
any occupant ion whatsoever. The benefit is an agreed sum insured.
Total Temporary
Disability Benefit: When employees are involved in accidents which do not
result in death or permanent disability, but makes them unable to perform
regular duties, this benefit ensures that employees are compensated until they
are fit to return to work.
Medical Expenses
Benefit: It refers to expenses incurred in obtaining treatment or
hospitalization for bodily injuries sustained as a result of an accident. The
benefit is usually selected by the insured, which must be in relation to the
amount of benefits being demanded on death and permanent disability. This
policy provides worldwide cover.
In addition, our
Group Personal Accident Insurance Policy cover is flexible and can be
customized to meet your needs. It can be
a Stand-alone policy or an Add-on to a Group Life policy.
